SEER

In "Seer" I present a self-portrait that transcends the simple representation of personal identity to address urgent questions about the future of our planet. This portrait shows me almost mutant with an optometric device on my head, symbolizing the desperate search for clarity and foresight in a world facing an increasingly uncertain future.

The optometric device on my head is a visual metaphor for the need for new tools and perspectives to see beyond the present and foresee the future impact of our current actions. This mutant vision reflects the transformation we must all undergo to adapt and respond to the environmental and social challenges that lie ahead. The work is a critique and wake-up call about the destructive trajectory humanity is on. Unless we change the way we interact with the natural world, we will continue to trigger catastrophic changes that will affect all forms of life on the planet.

"Seer" is both a warning and a call to collective responsibility. Through this self-portrait, I attempt to capture the urgency of the situation and the need for a renewed and committed vision to ensure a sustainable future. The transformation into a mutant symbolizes the inevitable change that we must face and embrace if we are to overcome the challenges and avoid environmental and social ruin.
